Sweet Soiree is an annual event put on by ACCESS to benefit local families of children with disabilities. ACCESS strives to help these families by raising funds to provide financial grants to families of children with disabilities to purchase adaptive equipment, assistive devises, home/car/van modifications and other interventions that are not covered by private insurance and/or Medicaid. This past year over 100 items were donated for their auction and over 15 local restaurants took part at this event at Stone Creek Club and Spa.

Through the efforts of the volunteers and supports at ACCESS, they strive to help families by raising funds to provide financial grants to families of children with disabilities to purchase adaptive equipment, assistive devices, home/car/van modifications and other interventions that are not covered by private insurance and/or Medicaid.

Since their inception in May 2010, ACCESS has provided nearly $100,000 in financial assistance to local families in need with purchases including wheelchairs, adaptive bicycles, augmentative communication devices, and home modifications. Other annual fundraisers include “BooFest”.

Southern Hospitality Event Rentals has been honored to be a part of this amazing event for the last 3 years and looks forward to being a part of it for many years to come!

Men Who Cook is an annual event held by the Children's Advocacy Center - Hope House, who is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse in our community. They provide a path to recovery and a bridge to justice for victims of abuse.

This event is a host to local celebrity cooks paired with local restaurants who offer tastings of delicious cuisine in a competitive cook-off! This event includes some great food, dancing under the starts, libations, an auction and much more!

This year is our 2nd year providing all the rental items for this fundraising event. Helping local kids in need is a major focus for Southern Hospitality Event Rentals and we believe it’s one of Covington’s best events!

"Kickin' Parkinson's" is an annual fundraiser held in Covington and that raises money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation's research of Parkinson's, a disease of the central nervous system.

"Kickin' Parkinson's,'' a local group that supports the Michael J. Fox Foundation, has raised over $500,000 to help find a cure.

The event features live music, an open bar, and food served by more than 20 local restaurants and a silent auction.

Southern Hospitality Event Rentals has been a part of this event for over 2 years and has seen this wonderful event continue to grow each year. They truly put on an amazing fundraising event for such a great cause.

More than just a few-mile trek, the Walk to Defeat ALS® is an opportunity to bring hope to people living with ALS, to raise money for a cure, and to come together for something you care about. The Walk to Defeat ALS® is The ALS Association’s biggest annual event, which raises funds that allow our local chapters to sustain care services and support research for much of the next year.
